Monday Lotto

Monday lotto is a very popular weekly Australian lottery. The game, which is also known as Monday Gold Lotto in Queensland or X Lotto in South Australia, was launched in November 1979. Since then, it has seen a number of changes. Lotto began expanding in 2006, when it was started to sell tickets in South Australia and Western Australia. And finally in 2013 it expanded to Queensland.

How to play

You have to buy a QuickPick or Marked entry ticket. With a QuickPick you get fixed numbers on your ticket and with a Marked entry ticket you can select the number yourself. Each Monday at 20:30 AEST, eight numbers are drawn with the last two of these acting as supplementary numbers. If the numbers on your ticket match the six main numbers drawn - you win the First Division prize! You can also win other cash prizes for matching one or two main numbers as well as the supplementary numbers or matching five main numbers and one or two of the supplementary numbers.

Monday Lotto prices

To play a Monday lotto you need to buy a Quick play ticket or create your own. There are seven tickets prices options for a Quick play - starting from $3.65 for six draws and ending with a maxi ticket option for $29.60 for 50 games. Playing with your chosen numbers gives you more options - you can play from four to fifty games and prices are respectively from $2.40 to $29.60.
