Australian lotteries: review 2020.03.09-15

The total prize pool for the Saturday draw (14 March) was more than $13 million and nearly 448k players shared this. There was a lucky player who won the jackpot worth $4,107,243 - congratulations!

During the draw on Thursday, 12 March, the prize pool was $19,480,027 in total. It was shared between 1,042,483 people. SImilarly as during the last few weeks, no one won the jackpot (which is acquired while getting 7 main numbers plus Powerball). Nevertheless, we are happy to announce that 5 players won $107,856 each for having 7 main numbers (the 2nd best combination) this week! The probability to score this one was 1 in 7,078,443.

Last Tuesday (10 March), the prize of $5,244,854 was divided between 219,984 players. No one won the jackpot, but 5 players won the 2nd best prize. This one was worth $29,700 for each player getting 6 main numbers combined with 1 supplementary number. The chance for this win was 1 in 3,241,401.

These games were present on Monday (9 March) and Wednesday (11 March). The prize of $5,976,971 was divided amongst 182,416 players. 2 players won the jackpot worth $1,000,000 each on Monday! Also, 1 player received the same prize on Wednesday. Congratulations to all of them!

The draw last Saturday (7 March) gave away the prize pool of $72,512 in total. This sum was shared between 3,501 people. Similarly as the week before, no one won the jackpot. However, 2 players got the 2nd best prize ($6,666 each with the chance of 1 in 55,556).

During 3 draws last week (Monday the 9th, Wednesday the 11th and Saturday the 14th), the total prize of $109,420 was divided amongst 22,941 players. Unfortunately, no one won the jackpot prize across these draws.
