Australian lotteries: review 2020.03.30-04.05

Therefore, you can still participate without any extra struggles. The results in Australia last week (30 March-5 April) are really interesting for all of us - let’s see what exactly happened!

The prize pool for the draw last Saturday (28 March) was worth $14.3 million, shared by more than 556k players. There was a really large number of jackpot winners - 7 players received $613,017 each! Overall, the chance to win this prize was 1 in 8,145,060.

The draw of the Powerball lotto took place on Thursday, 2 April. Over 343k players shared the prize pool worth $6.3 millions. If the week before last week was quite exciting due to the jackpot, the results were less impressive this time - however, we’re excited that 5 players got 7 main numbers correctly and won $35,188 each. The chance of getting this prize was 1 in 7,078,443.

On Tuesday (31 March), the prize pool of nearly $4.3 million was divided between more than 185k players. Similarly as the week before, no one landed the jackpot: the largest prize won was $40,623. 3 players got this prize for 6 mains and 1 supplementary number with a chance of 1 in 3,241,401.

These games were live on Monday (30 March) and Wednesday (1 April). The prize of nearly $9 million was divided amongst more than 240K players. One player got the jackpot worth $1,000,000 on Wednesday’s game - congratulations! The chance of this event was 1 in 8,145,060.

In the draw last Saturday (4 April), 4.2K players shared the prize pool of over $107K in total. . Similarly as the week before, no one won the jackpot. However, 5 players got the 2nd best prize ($6,666 each with the chance of 1 in 55,556).

During 3 draws last week (Monday the 30h, Wednesday the 1st and Saturday the 4th), the total prize of nearly $123k was divided amongst 25,512 players. No one won the jackpot prize across these draws.

There was one draw on Tuesday (31 March). Unfortunately, no one won the jackpot.

The draws of Super Jackpot took place once last week: on Tuesday (31 March). No one won the jackpot prizes there.

As this lottery is ongoing on a daily basis during the week, it is more likely to win a prize than in other most popular lotteries. Even though last week none of the players won the jackpot prize, 2 players landed the 2nd best prize - $5k a month for the whole year.
